CASology Celebrates 5 Years ~ Blog Hop Time!

Another year older and we're starting off with a new look...and a blog hop!

You should have arrived here from the awesome STAMPlorations blog. If you've missed any of the stops on our crazy fab 5-year Anniversary Blog Hop, you can always go back to CASology and start from the beginning. You definitely don't want to miss our celebration and the designers and companies that are sponsoring prizes! Check out the details below.

Even shaker cards can be CAS! I created the paper with all the "happy" sentiments I could dig out of my stamp collection and used various ink colors...I love a good rainbow of colors :) The banner is a folded banner die and was perfect to stretch across the balloon.

Now time to hop over to Kimberly Wiener's inspiration for our b-day party!

Details:
  • To be eligible for the sponsor prizes, you must comment on all stops included on the hop list.  Winners will be selected randomly using random.org.

WISH a Little Wish with CASology

If you love happy thoughts and positive vibes, then CASology has you covered
with this week's cue card: WISH.

So I'm totally in L-O-V-E with the Distress Oxide inks! They're creamy and blend so beautifully...and they stamp so cleanly. Seriously, get your hands on a couple of these movies.

I masked off my border and the largest butterfly stamp in the same set as the circles I used for the background to create plenty of white space. I was able to position my sentiment in the middle of the butterfly. I think kraft cardstock is great with pastels, so it's a mostly one-layer card
with a few tiny rhinestones :)

There's more happy inspirations to see from the DT and guest designer. And our wonderful sponsor this week is Uniko Studios.

Pizza Pizza at CASology

Happy Tuesday and 4th of July holiday (if you're in the US)! CASology is having a little fun this week with a foodie guilty pleasure: PIZZA!

This was a challenge:
1- I'm not really a fan of pizza
2- I don't own one pizza-inspired stamp
3- I knew this was a great cue card for me to create with some word play
4- My super talented teammates had the same ideas as me, but got there 1st LOL

When these things happen, I love to find coloring pages online with great images I can use.
This was actually a free downloadable pizza party invitation from Twisty Noodle.

With a little Photoshop jazz, I was able to make it perfect for the card I had in mind. I colored the letters using Copic markers and added a gingham mat. Pizza party anyone??!

You've got to see the DT inspiration cards this week; they really tossed up some great cards (see what I did there LOL). Please say hi to our guest designer and lovely sponsor too.
